Caring for who lives with you deserves more calm.

In Cuba, I lived with many companions, especially dogs, without a clear understanding of what they needed after adoption or how to organise their care. In 2017, my wife and I adopted Lucy. When she became ill a few months later, we lost her the following January.

In 2018, Grise and Bianca arrived. Manchi joined us later. We loved all three deeply, and we also experienced losses that taught us, painfully, how much safety, routines, and attention to small changes matter. When Grise became ill, we tried everything, without being able to understand what had changed or when it had started.

One day, my wife suggested something simple: writing down what each of them did. That habit gave our days more context, and we still use it with Mamuquita, who lives with us in Spain, and Negri, who joined us two years later.

We lost Grise seven days before moving to Spain. That story left me with a question: what if care could feel a little clearer before worry sets in? Nuzzleway began for my wife and me, and for other people who want to accompany the everyday lives of those they love more thoughtfully.
